- Remove both air curtain modules. For additional information, refer to: Side Air Curtain Module (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).
- Remove the B-Pillar lower trim.
- Remove the windshield glass. For additional information, refer to: Windshield (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, Removal and Installation).
- If applicable, remove roof opening panel. For additional information, refer to: Roof Opening Panel (501-17 Roof Opening Panel, Removal and Installation).
- Remove the rear quarter window glass. For additional information, refer to: Rear Quarter Window Glass (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, Removal and Installation).
- Remove both front seats. For additional information, refer to: Front Seat (501-10 Seating, Removal and Installation).
- Remove both rear seats. For additional information, refer to: Rear Seat (501-10 Seating, Removal and Installation).
- Remove the rear seat safety belt lower anchors.
- Release the wiring harness from both A-pillars.
- Release the wiring harness from the roof.
- Remove both front door and rear door aperture weatherstrip.
- Remove the tailgate weatherstrip.
- Remove both front safety belt retractors. For additional information, refer to: Front Safety Belt Retractor (501-20A Safety Belt System, Removal and Installation).
- R/H side: Remove the footrest.
- Release the carpet
- Remove the load space trims.
- Remove the load space carpets.
