- Fully extend the steering column for access.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
- Remove the steering wheel. For additional information, refer to: Steering Wheel (211-04 Steering Column and Steering Wheel, Removal and Installation).
- Remove the instrument panel center reinforcement. For additional information, refer to: Instrument Panel Center Reinforcement (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
- Remove the headlamp switch trim panel. For additional information, refer to: Headlamp Switch (417-01 Exterior Lighting, Removal and Installation).

Remove the driver side closing trim panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the instrument panel access panel.

Remove the steering column upper shroud.

Remove the steering column lower shroud.
- Remove the 3 Torx screws.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the steering column side trim panel.

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the steering column multifunction switches.

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the clockspring.

Remove the steering column switch assembly.

Remove the steering column gaiter panel.
- Remove the 2 Torx screws.

Remove the instrument cluster.
- Remove the 2 Torx screws.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Release the air temperature sensor.

Remove the driver side face level vent.
- Remove the 2 Torx screws.
- Release the on-board diagnostic connector.
- Remove the 2 Torx screws.

Remove the instrument panel driver side reinforcement.
- Remove the 11 Torx screws.
- Install the instrument panel driver side reinforcement.
- Attach the on-board diagnostic connector.
- Install the face level vent.
- Attach the air temperature sensor.
- Install the instrument cluster.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the steering column gaiter panel.
- Install the steering column switch assembly.
- Tighten the Torx bolts to 3 Nm (2 lb.ft).
- Connect the clockspring and multifunction switch electrical connectors.
- Install the steering column side trim panel.
- Install the steering column shrouds.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the instrument panel access panel.
- Install the driver side closing trim panel.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the headlamp switch trim panel. For additional information, refer to: Headlamp Switch (417-01 Exterior Lighting, Removal and Installation).
- Install the instrument panel center reinforcement. For additional information, refer to: Instrument Panel Center Reinforcement (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
- Install the steering wheel. For additional information, refer to: Steering Wheel (211-04 Steering Column and Steering Wheel, Removal and Installation).
- Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
