Removal
NOTE:

The position of the adaptive front lighting module will change with hand of drive.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
  2. Passenger side: Remove the cowl side trim panel. For additional information, refer to: Cowl Side Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  3. Remove the CJB. For additional information, refer to: Central Junction Box (418-00 Module Communications Network, Removal and Installation).
  4. E55696
    Remove the adaptive front lighting module.
      • Disconnect the electrical connector.
      • Remove the bolt.
Installation
  1. Install the adaptive front lighting module.
      • Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
      • Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Install the CJB. For additional information, refer to: Central Junction Box (418-00 Module Communications Network, Removal and Installation).
  3. Install the cowl side trim panel. For additional information, refer to: Cowl Side Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  4. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
