Receiver Drier (G942452)

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Removal
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
  2. WARNING:

    Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Remove the condenser core. For additional information, refer to: Condenser Core (412-03D Air Conditioning - TDV8 3.6L Diesel, Removal and Installation).
  4. CAUTION:

    Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.

    Remove the receiver drier.
      • Remove the receiver drier support bracket clamp.
      • Remove the bolt.
      • Remove the clamp.
      • Remove and discard the 2 O-ring seals.
Installation
  1. NOTES:

    • Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean refrigerant oil.

    • Remove and discard the blanking caps.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
      • Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
