Selector Lever Assembly (G852093)

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Removal
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
  2. Remove the floor console upper panel. For additional information, refer to: Floor Console Upper Panel (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
  3. NOTE:

    Collect the plastic spacer from the selector lever cable.

    Release the selector lever cable.
    1. Remove the selector lever clip from the selector lever inner cable .
    2. Remove the selector lever housing clip from the selector cable.

    Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.

    Release the ignition switch interlock cable.
      • Remove the bolt.
      • Remove the clamp.
  6. E77517
    Remove the selector lever assembly.
      • Remove the 3 nuts.
Installation
  1. Install the selector lever assembly.
      • Tighten the 3 nuts to 9 Nm (7 lb.ft).
  2. Install the ignition switch interlock cable.
      • Install the clamp.
      • Install the bolt.
  3. Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
  4. Install the selector lever cable.
      • Install the selector lever housing clip to the selector lever cable.
      • Install the plastic spacer to the selector lever cable.
      • Install the selector lever clip to the selector lever inner cable.
  5. Install the floor console upper panel. For additional information, refer to: Floor Console Upper Panel (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
  6. Install the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
