Removal
NOTE:

The occupant classification sensor is part of the passenger seat cushion. The sensor is only fitted to NAS models.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
  2. Remove the front seat cushion cover. For additional information, refer to: Front Row Seat Cushion Cover (501-10 Seating, Removal and Installation).
Installation
  1. Install the front seat cushion cover. For additional information, refer to: Front Row Seat Cushion Cover (501-10 Seating, Removal and Installation).
  2. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
  3. Using T4, configure a new occupant classification sensor.
