Differential Locking Module (G427398)

IN-VEHICLE REPAIR
Removal
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
  2. Remove the C-pillar lower trim panel. For additional information, refer to: Rear Quarter Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

    Release the parking aid module.
      • TORQUE: 10 Nm
  4. E54440
    Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.

    TORQUE: 7 Nm

    TORQUE: 10 Nm
  6. E187472
    Remove the differential locking module.
      • TORQUE: 10 Nm
Installation
  1. To install reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, calibrate a new differential locking module.
