Liftgate Window Latch Adjustment (G426576)

GENERAL PROCEDURES
  1. E53848
    Check for an equal gap and alignment to the adjacent panels. If incorrect, follow the adjust procedure below.
  2. Remove the liftgate lower trim panel. For additional information, refer to: Tailgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  3. E53849
    Loosen the 2 liftgate glass latch retaining bolts.
  4. Close the liftgate glass and check the alignment to adjacent panels.
  5. E53850
    Adjust the bump stops if required.
  6. Open the liftgate glass and tigten the latch retaining bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
