Removal
  1. E57076
    Remove the latch cover trim.
      • Release the 2 clips.
  2. Open the liftgate glass.
  3. NOTE:

    To allow the liftgate to be opened at the same time as the liftgate glass, the liftgate glass latch must be in the locked position.

    Lock the liftgate glass latch.
  4. CAUTION:

    Assistance will be required to support the liftgate glass and liftgate, while the trim panel is being removed. This is to prevent damage to the liftgate spoiler and the roof panel.

    With assistance, to avoid damage, support the liftgate glass and liftgate.

    Remove the liftgate lower trim panel.
      • Remove the 2 screws.
      • Carefully release the 10 clips.
  6. NOTE:

    Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

    Remove the retaining clips.
Installation
  1. Install the clips.
  2. Install the liftgate lower trim panel.
      • Position the panel and secure the clips.
      • Install the screws.
  3. Install the latch cover trim.
      • Secure the 2 clips.
  4. With assistance, close the liftgate.
  5. Release the liftgate glass latch lock.
  6. Close the liftgate glass.
