REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Removal
  1. Position the front seat fully forwards.
  2. Remove the scuff plate trim panel.
    Refer to: Scuff Plate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  3. E45811
    Remove and discard the Torx bolt. Release the safety belt upper anchor.
  4. E45813
    Remove and discard the Torx bolt. Remove the safety belt retractor assembly.
Installation
  1. Install the front safety belt retractor. Tighten the Torx bolt.
    Renew Part: Seatbelt retractor bolt Quantity: 1.
    Torque: 40Nm
  2. Attach the safety belt upper anchor. Tighten the Torx bolt.
    Renew Part: Seatbelt retractor bolt Quantity: 1.
    Torque: 40Nm
  3. Install the scuff plate trim panel.
    Refer to: Scuff Plate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
