Removal
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
  2. Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
  3. CAUTION:

    Make sure the wiring harness is protected when cutting the carpet.

    Remove the yaw rate sensor.
      • Cut the carpet for access.
      • Position the wiring harness aside.
      • Disconnect the electrical connector.
      • Remove the 2 bolts.
Installation
  1. Install the yaw rate sensor.
      • Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
      • Connect the electrical connector.
      • Attach the wiring harness.
      • Attach the carpet.
