Removal
  1. WARNING:

    Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. E44579
    Remove the tail pipe.
      • Release the exhaust hanger.
      • Using the special tool, cut the exhaust pipe at the marked position.
Installation
  1. NOTE:

    Do not tighten the clamp at this stage.

    Install the tail pipe.
      • Clean the components.
      • Install the clamp.
  2. Align the tail pipe and tighten the clamp to 50 Nm (37 lb.ft).
      • Secure the exhaust hanger.
