REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Removal
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Specifications (414-00 Battery and Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
  2. E86458
    Remove the mass air flow (MAF) outlet pipe.
      • Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
      • Loosen the 2 clips.
  3. E76626
    Remove the MAF sensor.
      • Remove the 2 screws.
      • Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
Installation
  1. Install the MAF sensor.
      • Install a new O-ring seal.
      • Tighten the 2 screws to 2 Nm (1 lb.ft).
  2. Install the MAF outlet pipe.
      • Tighten the clips.
      • Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
