Do not fill the differential with lubricant up to the filler plug. The filler plug is only used to fill the differential with lubricant, and not to act as a level indicator.
The only way to check the fluid level in the differential is to drain all the fluid out and refill with the correct quantity, shown in the specification section.For additional information, refer to: Specifications (205-02 Rear Drive Axle/Differential, Specifications).
Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
Do not undo or remove the large protruding hexagon on the differential casing.
