REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Removal
- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
- Remove the windshield washer reservoir filler neck. Release the windshield washer reservoir filler neck from the coolant expansion tank. Remove and if necessary, discard the seal.

Disconnect the 2 hoses from the windshield washer reservoir pumps. Drain the washer reservoir fluid. Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.NOTE:
Some fluid spillage is inevitable during this operation.
- Remove the windshield washer reservoir. Remove the 4 bolts.

Remove the windshield washer pump. Remove and if necessary, discard the seal.NOTE:
Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
- Remove the headlamp washer pump. Remove and if necessary, discard the seal.
Installation
- Install the windshield washer pump. If necessary, install a new seal. Renew Part: Windshield washer pump seal Quantity: 1.
- Install the headlamp washer pump. If necessary, install a new seal. Renew Part: Headlamp washer pump seal Quantity: 1.
- Install the windshield washer reservoir. Tighten the M6 bolts. Tighten the M8 bolt.TorqueM6 bolts: 6NmM8 bolt: 25Nm
- Connect the 2 hoses to the windshield washer reservoir pumps. Connect the electrical connectors.
- Install the windshield washer reservoir filler neck. If necessary, install a new seal. Lubricate the seal. Secure in the clip.Renew Part: Windshield washer reservoir filler neck seal Quantity: 1.
- Install the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
